Default Noob question!?!??

I am getting a 1st gen (I think) used rockshow I need advice on the upper and lower control arms and shocks....and will the stock wheels and bead locks be comp capable?? I am getting 2 sidewinder micros, a 7980 servo, castle bec, 2 45t motors (not sure on the brand yet), a futaba 4pl and equivalent receiver, a handful of lipos, either sedonas, rovers, or boss claws, and all the vanquish axle goodies out there I leaving any thing out??

Well just so you know the stock wheels will not work with vp knuckles. I would get a better wheel especially one that is not so wide, like the stock ones.

If you narrow the stock wheels they will work with VP knuckles. But you may want something with an aluminum hub as the stock wheels will probably end up spinning at the hexes out at some point.

16 or 14 gauge wires are all you will need. Check out the size of the wires on the small batteries we use, most are 16ga.

Most people use a punk dig but really, going to dual ESCs is only a small cost more than one ESC and a dig and is more versitile if your radio can support mixing two throttle channels.

Yes the 4pl has dual esc mixing capabilities.
