I have been running HH for a long time now and couldnt be happier. John has great tech advice and great customer service.

Im running a matched pair of Team Flow motors. VERY smooth startup, great drag brake and with the a motor with this much "POP" I can make any sweet jump's I choose

Skewed 3 slot arm,
30t high fill
epoxy balanced
Laydown brushes
Stage 3 kit
Blue hoods
Raw Oiled steel cans

EACH MOTOR WEIGHS
5.6 ounce each

One of the biggest things I value is customer service and about a year ago I bought a big old 550 sized 10T cobalt puller from him however during a basic cleaning one day the pinion got stuck and I actually broke off the entire arm. John actually discontinued the cobalts already at that time but he went out of his way to rewound me another armature! It was completely custom job. Ever since then I can see how much he cares about his work and most importantly his customers.

I have some Holmes 45 turns and I ran them in my berg for 2 years then put them in my super bully and they are still going strong. I have never tried brood motors but I'm sure they are about the same in torque and speed.

Someone in our club runs them, they have tons of power but are twitchy on startup.

Well worded John!

You will need to run a very light rig to not overheat them, and the startup is just going to be a little twichy regardless. With a castle or holmes esc you can help it a little, with a good radio a little more, but those are just bandaids that should be used to fine tune motors with good startup to your personal throttle input rather than try and make motors start up smooth.

Word. I haven't given up on them yet though. Gonna have to be at least a 16t or higher though

I think mine aare 16t's... I picked them up a while back thinking I was going to use them in my MRC but they are too long for the chassis. Now, I don't know what to do with them.

Gear them super low.

I have had 16t slotted those where killer. But lacked Torque

I had 18t to slow.

500 puller

I'm with ya there! I have a 14t I mounted up to a mrc tranny with a custom made plate that moved the motor forward an 8th inch to get it to fit.. have yet to do anything further with it tho.. maybe some day..
