| bit the bullet and buyers rremorse
Well I have had two ax10's a wraith and a ridgecrest....wanted to try MOA. Have remorse after CKRC told me that axial isnt going to make this kit anymore. Looks like the vender suport is great. anyway I love building kits..so I ordered a kit and tires....slow build...money isnt coming in fats for the holidays....

Sounds like you are a bit confused more than having buyers remorse. You like to build kits but are dissapointed that Axial isn't making them anymore? Don't worry about parts availability from Axial/ outside vendors. You will have plenty to keep you going for years to come.

Kits, who needs kits? Alot of guys around here have plastic Axial case halves, and the rest of the axles, chassis, links is all aftermarket or custom anyways. That is probably why Axial bailed on the kit. If you do comps, and build the XR with some upgrades to make it reliable you wont regret it. It realy is a great platform. Like said previously, you will never have a problem finding parts. A guy could buy every single part aftermarket and bolt an entire truck together never using a stock part. But if stock plastic parts are your thing there are plenty out there. Most hobby shops stock them. Last edited by TedBull; 11-26-2012 at 07:18 PM. |

Plenty of other kits out there besides Axial...I understand brand loyalty as I'm an HPI guy for monster trucks but you gotta be flexible. I'm sure you can find something that'll float your boat so to speak.
