| ***REVIEW*** DLUX Fab 70* XR10 modded steering shafts
A few weeks ago, I read Erik (Dlux) modded some XR10 Universals for 70* of steering. My axles were tired and I knew they took a beating over this past season. So...I contacted him and ordered a set. I was running aftermarket axles that yielded 50* of steering, with a few mods to my truck (for better steering angle)...I didn't realize how much of a beating I put on the axles pushing them at or past their usable limit. This is where the modded shafts come in... Am I using the total 70* degrees of steering? NO. If I had to guess...I have around 60* degrees or so, turning left to right without hitting my servo, battery or front lower links. So why have 70* degrees of available steering? Having the "extra" usable angle will keep you from maxing out AND extend the life of your axles. I can spin the axles at full lock smoothly. You can get the modded axles here at DLUX FAB |

Lookin good chicklet. I love a good deal and for what he's charging for these they should be a very popular upgrade. |

Very nice Good to see more of these making their way into rigs! The Subie scratch almost disappeared with clay bar and Meguires nxt 2.0, too scared to let someone wheel it yet Later, Farmer |
