I agree with that I guess. The ol "to see if I can" approach. But yeah...not very practical.

The wheight of that one should be close to nothing and that nothing is placed really low, wonder how much torque twist it got...

The weight...close to nothing?

That rig has what appear to be metal driveshafts, at least 4-6 extra gears, bearings, mounting plates, hardware, full size shocks, springs, etc. I'm betting it's still in the 4.5+ range.

I agree there are places for improvements, but the idea of having all transmission and motor non sprung wheight and quite low.

Dont know how much the tranny in a AX10 wheighs but just the motor is about 160g ish for a 540?
you can have pretty beefy metal shafts before you have 160g in the chassies ;)

Anyhow developement is all about experimenting, and that is one cool experiment =)
