Default Connection Spark

Since the Yeti XL does not have a on/off switch do you guys get a good size spark when connecting the second battery?

yep but there is a way to add a spark arrester lead with a resistor that kills the spark before you connect the second battery. I can't remember the set up. Goggle it if you want to find out more about it.

You could wire in an anti-spark yes, but until you're running 8S+, it's not needed. The spark is totally normal and won't hurt anything. Your connectors will wear out long before the arc wears them out.
