|  Diff Shim Question
I took the front bumper of the car apart in order to access the differential so I could replace one of the bearings that blew up. I figured since the front portion was apart I would attempt to install the shims behind the pinion gear up front. Can I take the gear out from this side? If so What needs to be done in order to install the shim from this point? Or do I need to access the gear from the other side where the drive line is attached?

When you take the cover and diff out there will be 3 1.5mm screws that hold the pinion in. Remove those and the whole thing slides out threw the front.

And I thought I was the only one to blowup a carrier bearing.. I got 15 minutes out of the box before it gave out and stripped out the r/p.... But with one call to axial they shipped me new parts....Great Product support...  |

I put all the shims in and completely went threw it before I even fired it up. My pinion mesh was WAY to tight to!! I knew I was taking a chance by running 6s right off the bat!!!
