They are ridiculously overpriced. You can get 8 for $6 of the Dhawk ones. Since you need 24, it's a little pricey.. $50 for pieces that should have come stock on a truck this size.

yeah, just built my XL kit and was a little surprised at all the plastic. Will be interesting to see how quickly they wear

The Dhawk ones are steel.
Axial ones are aluminum.

Steel ones will hold up better

I use this
ProTek RC "TruTorque" Shock Shaft Pliers [PTK-8267] | Maintenance - AMain.com - AMain.com
They will install and remove pivot balls in a nano second. Too bad they are back ordered there might be different ones though.

in combo to above i use these:
TowerHobbies.com | Heli-Max Heli Ball End Tool
TowerHobbies.com | Heli-Max Curved Tip Ball Link Pliers

Personally i would just use the Ball Link Pliers. Pop out the old and in with the new.
