Default FastEddy Bearings 15mm Diff shims for the Yeti XL

Due to the massive requests, we are having the proper 15mm Shims made for the Yeti XL diff.

We ordered them in about 2 weeks ago and got notice they have shipped.
They will be posted here with a link when they arrive.

We will offer them alone and also as a combo package with our Yeti XL bearing kit.

Many people have tried to order the 15mm clutch shims we have for the Losi 5ive DO NOT ORDER THEM they are the wrong size and will bind up your diff.

We have also ordered in the pinon shims but they will take much longer.

Soon, soon, soon........

The gear going into the dif box needs two shims on both to obtain a better "mesh of the gears. I ran without them for a little while but I installed them this week in the front and I can see the wear from not having them, I'm only running 2S. I can't find the other shims that were in the RTR box, I believed that I used them on my 8ight 3.0 E Truggy. So if he would hurry up and come off of these so I can add one more to the front and then do the rear I will feel a whole lot better.

Just a FYI before I get asked the "mesh" was probably at 50%, meaning that the gear mesh that was in constant contact was on half of the gear facings, in laymen's terms, "bad"...

Also note of mention when you reinstall the front end don't get the screws mixed up or they will poke out the housing.... Yes I know, FAIL....

Which shims are we talking about here? The 15x18x0.2mm AX31269 pinion shims or something to pack out the diff slop in the bulkheads?

The bearings on the diff are 10x16x5mm AX31201. A 10x15mm shim here would be too large, no? Stands a chance of rubbing on the bearings outer casing.

If you want to remove diff slop and move the 32T bevel gear into a better mesh then a 10x12x0.1 or 0.2mm shim would be the correct one. See HPI-Z892 or Z891

15+ 6S packs through this kit. Built the diffs out of the box with three 15x21x4 bearings and a few extra fast Eddy 15mm shims on the pinion gear. Just pulled the front and rear diffs out for inspection and they are mint. Been bashing, high speed street racing, crawling and circle track racing. I'm glad to say this setup rocks!

As far as diff shims do the BHB mod on the pinion and get the aluminum spacer from DHAWK racing off ebay. Avidrc.com for the bearings I have been using their stuff for years and love em. I use the 1 dollar bearings in everything except the trans where I run ceramic. As far as diff fluid I run 200K front and 500K rear.
