Default First time out with new XL (Damage)

Had my new fresh out of tbe box XL in the backyard yard and had fun for about a half hour. Anyway my neighbors and my yard are connected with a slight dip between the property line. I got some speed and hit the dip and my XL came maybe 2 feet off the ground and rolled three times. Our yards are all low cut grass and somehow I ended up with a broken lower rear link.

So where do I get parts and is there an upgraded part I shoukd be looking for? If so who do I order from?

You can go with GPM/Dhawk, the drive shaft, for example, is way better than HR's. For the bearings, I'm not sure if a $12 bearing from boca is twelfe time better than a $1 no name bearing. It's your choice as long as you change them before they fail

I assume that you have the rtr? I also purchased a rtr (slightly used) and can tell you that there are some must do upgrades. I purchased HR'S front sway bar and rear torsion bar to help eliminate the twist making it more controlable. I also purchased a HR motor mount, one as a heat sink and two to stop any motor movement when you punch the throttle.

Don't be that is out of the box Axial for you. They make nice trucks but they all need upgrades out of the box is you want to keep running. Sucks but that is the way the hobby is really, no matter what brand you get.

Thats cool, I have a few aluminum parts on order. Almost seems that I like working on it as much as using it.

Even with the kit version requires some upgrades. You should really look at the BHB HD gear mod if you want your diffs to hold up to bashing.

Too bad BHB is not running for President - I'd have someone I could actually enjoy voting for!
Sorry to deviate - now, let's get back on topic.
