First off,I want to apologize to the community. I am new with forums and did not mean to spam other member builds with pics of my own build. I've learned a lot in the short time I've been on forums. Also apologize for picture sizes being to large. I've got it figured out now I hope.

So here is my build and this is my first electric ever ....a lot too learn. This forum has been such a huge help so thanks to all that have helped.

All unpacked and ready for the build....excited!

Initial build complete...some upgrades
Hot Racing Bell Crank
Stainless Screw Kit
Fast Eddie Bearing Kit
BHB Pinion Mod
3 Bearing Mod
Hot Racing Rear EZ Rear Drive shaft
500k Diff fluid All Around
45 Wt shock Fluid
Team Associate Rims

All Painted Up!
I mixed a metallic blue and neon green to achieve the color, along with indy silver, backed with black.

Pro Mod Steve mod for rear pinion bearing protector

Well new Package arrived today, with all components for the Yeti XL. Also got the itch another electric. I missed my xxl nitro, so went ahead and got me the xxl2-e.

Decided to Try the XXL2-E wheels and tires on the Yeti XL...this weekend will be the Yeti maiden run...in snow....

Here are the electrics.

Here is the package that arrived

All ready to run this weekend....snow bash time.

Sucks to be a Spammer.

Glad you read up on the mods and upgrades before you built it. Between the BHB mod, steering and bearing upgrade you should be good to go for a bit.

How did your maiden runs go?

Have a blast ! I like to through a cloth over the internals to keep the snow out... I also let it drip dry upside down...the servo tray holds water. It can be vented tho.

I don't know, but for some reason I feel the maiden run just doesn't want to happen. So cold afraid it could make the plastic so brittle.

Well first short maiden run....and it held up great.

Fun Stuff Huh !!! Once 6s is dilaled in its like a drug... Almost impossible to get stuck in the snow... 5$ limiting straps will save your parts big-time! Also a shock tower brace is a great mod ! I've actually broken turnbuckle shock tower supports off which proves their importance to me.

How did you do that? Never seen that before in a YXL. Seen some of the small 1/10 Yeti do it. Go big or go home I guess.

Yes I'm sure the cold had a lot to do with it. But I was also going pretty extreme..just to test it all out. That was a bad landing on that wheel 10 ft up. Good news though tore it all apart and the bhb mod is perfect...and the pro mod Steve pinion cover worked great.

Oops! Unfortunate plastic snapping but happens when you live in Antarctica. Kidding. Maybe winter time is the need for a Metal Axle.

Good your finding the Cheap weak spots now so next year will be different.

Wow !! Are you sure you didn't run it over with a Mack truck? Lol Those axles are pretty tough but physics wins almost every time. Thanks for the pictures because it would been hard to believe lol
