Talking Too much snow for the Yeti XL

Went for a second run with the XL in the snow. A lot more accumulation this time. Looks like it was too much for the big guy.

Only running 4s so I assume motor was wanting more juice but had none and the ESC went into a protection mode. Set her on the bench flipped over to drain out and dry and is ready go another day.

In cold conditions I cranked up the ESC timing and feeder 6s ... It will float across any amounts of snow just have to pick out a good landing zone. I was able to run higher pinions because of the cold and lack of traction.

It looks like you hit the lipo low voltage cutout. Where your batteries were drained down too far.
I've never had any issues with the snow even running on 2S. My only issue was on start up where I must have changed the start up voltage to low in the castle link. If the truck was in a bind it would "trip" the voltage limit causing it to stall for a second or two. Changed it to high and no issues any more it will try to crawl/run over anything, it doesn't care about load anymore

In the snow, tire speed is your friend, that and mud slingers/ paddles they just work
