| Suggestions for Yeti XL RTR Plug and Play Beadlocks
I would really like a set of beadlocks as I am going to start running 6s. The local hobby shop suggested and sold me Axial AXI8014 Rims. These are the 8 hole oversized beadlocks. I am not liking the look.... tires are way too small. Can someone recommend a similar style beadlock wheel that fits the factory Krawlers with proper even wider offset? My budget is $100 for 4. I already bought the new foam (Deuce's Wild 3.8" XL Single Stage Closed Cell ). Should I duck tape tire inside as well? |

There is a mod to narrow down the wheels. I'd suggest getting the hr hubs because they have a web lock.. Tho the web lock ONLY works for the Axial rtr wheels. I found if I cut two more groves with my Dremel they would interlock into the 40 series as well

Thanks for the heads up I found link on another site showing the method. It seems straight forward enough. My issue is time. Im not sure its practical for me to spend all that time making wheels fit then have one break.. I was hoping there might be some other options I was missing? |

I appreciate the input. I had read all these posts about tires and 6s....thought well since I am changing the foam per your recommendation I would get beadlocks and not worry about it. Plus no more glue |
