|  Is anyone using a motor fan?
Im running the 2200kv HW motor and MAX8 ESC in my XL. Would like to use a motor fan. Any recommendations?

I use the YEAH Racing dual fan set up in both my YXL and really like it. Works great in the Texas summer heat. They are all over e-bay.

I run castle blowers on all my bl 1/8th`s....s-mt4g3....hyper7.5....got one for the yxl  but I closed up the rx box and forgot to plug it In... .....I got same combo in my yxl... Last edited by evssv; 02-20-2017 at 08:57 AM. |

I'm running a HW XR-8 Plus with a HW 4274SD (2250kv) motor with no motor fan, and the hottest it's gotten so far is 133 degrees F. Maybe if I switch to 6S I might have a need, but so far so cool.

Thanks guys I'll look into those options. I ran 6s and I'm hooked. Just trying to help the motor out as much as possible.
