Is the handling of YETI really that bad?

"Handling: C The Yeti is a bit nose heavy in the jumps. The pushing in the turns takes a little skill to corner tight, but it’s hard to ask for more with such a well rounded vehicle."

Nice vid. The testing area looks like the same one that Badger was at. These new rigs appear to be tough, there were plenty of bad landings/crashes at full throttle and the trucks just kept on going.

I think they did a good job on the review as usual, however, I think they missed the mark on the time to bash score and workability scoring with a "B" in each category. With most RC's I own you have to remove 4 body clips and remove more clips or undo velcro straps to remove the battery, the Yeti you have to remove only 2 body clips and 1 battery tray clip, that's a total of 3 clips to replace the battery. How is that NOT an A for outstanding, I mean who has time these days to remove 4 body clips?!? uugh.... that makes me sweat just thinking doing about that much work.

I guess it gets an A if it ejects the battery and throws a new one in for you.

Not to mention, your video was better (see: A for Outstanding)... theirs was a B minus at best.

Needs functional weight in the rear. This is what I'm doin' to the rear right out of the gate or box:
1) SuperShafty Exclusive 3.40" MIP drive shaft
2) VP rear lockouts
3) HR diff locker, STRC upper link mount
4) 36/13 HD Axial Bevel Gears F&R
5) CI foams, Axial metal locking hexes, VP SLW hubs w/stock rims
6) DMG Diff Skid
All other good things to follow. me very excited!

Gonna role it, like I stole it!

U should do a currie rear axle 140 bucks isn't that bad when u add up the pice to make the stock axle strong enough. I have a few sets of them on rigs and man They are amazing and it will add that weight u were looking for

Cheaper and gives link mounting options from Erik DLux:

AR60/Wraith Servo/Truss/Link mount

A heavy axle and wheels is not good on go fast stuff.

He said rear weight in it so I was just making a suggestion keeps it low an adds weight. I like that product d lux makes. Good stuff. Thank you

Good point on rear weight, I prefer to keep mass non-rotating and sprung vs un-sprung. Also hard to say one person to another's opinion on weight bias. I'd have to drive it or put it on two scales to weigh the actual F/R bias. There is also a box in the rear for weight or whatever. Stick on lead weights are also an option.

It's hard to say what's going to work. I like the currie only bc it's a stong sob and I know the rear axl is going to take some hits. They really are not that much heavier than a stock axle with aluminum upgrades.

I never tried that truss but my axles always break right under the ring gear or I break an outter off.

Copied from big squid review "Crawling: The stock vehicle is set up for high speed! Shortly after it’s released there will be a option to add a low speed gear and change them on the fly. We are looking forward to that." So, the transmission only comes with one speed?
