Hello all, looking to gather some electronics for a yeti and I am curious. I have several 6s 1300mah lipos from rc helicopters and wondered if the yeti will run well on 6s 1100kv w/ a MMP and the ckrc upgraded drive train? Also, which pinion? This is the motor in considering, but concerned about the motor shaft diameter. RC OMG Co., Ltd. |

Only one way to find out I had a Tekin T8 1700 kv bolted up in mine last night but thought better of it. Might be fun for that WOW factor but would break something within minutes how I drive. That motor you linked has the right KV for 6s but not sure if it hold up with that kind of voltage. |

For me it wouldn't really be for wows, rather the fact I already have the batteries, also temps should very low...

Im no motor expert, but I'll try to dig and find out if the motor is compatible w/ 25V.

Actually, its not sensored and I want that low end control. Is that contradictory considering the high torque of low kV?

I'm looking at some other options, theres a Novak 1550kv listed w/ max rpm of 50000, so at 25V, it'd be right there. Looking at other options as well.

Running a lower KV motor on higher voltage will give you longer run times and cooler running temps if I remember correctly. Been a few years. |

I went 3s to 6s on 450 size helis and it was a change I'll never regret. Lower battery and motor temps. ESC too. I don't know about run time, we just cranked up the rpms.
