Default Anybody running a Savox?

I picked one up and am just wondering if yall get the weird buzzing sound... I was told I needed a BEC so I picked one up. Just waiting to install it... It's fast as all get out, that's for sure!

No weird buzzing noise with mine but I did have to add a Glitch buster capacitor.

I run Savox 1230's in all my rigs, digital servo's make that buzzing sound because there trying to find center. It's nothing to worry about, it's standard.
Lift your rig off the ground and flick your steering and most of the time it will stop. What Savox are you running?

Hello all,

Had that issue as well!
I installied a Savox 2270 (with the plan to install a BEC later) on the existing ESC circuit and under steering the car stopped Running. I also have a GearHead Trail torch on the Receiver which draws little power.

With the stock Tactic servo the steering sucked. Even after replacing all steering Parts to Metal.

Received a new Hacker Tensoric8.2 ESC yesterday and installied it. On a quick wiring i noticed the steering is ultra fast and has power even without an external BEC. Doing Some more ligths wiring and Thenée make a test Drive.

I checked the stock ESC specs for the BEC. 5V 2amp..... Now that explains it all to me!
Feed your servo and it works rigth:-)

Best regards,

Tiki/Germany

1258tg is what I'm running. Was told a bec would help so I hot one. Going to finish up the install today and use the Castle link to up the voltage to 6... I watched a ton of videos and heard the buzzing however, this thing could still use the 6 volts for a little more steering power...
