Default New battery faster in reverse

Evening guys. So I am trying a new turnigy 5000 35c on the bench before tomorrow and in reverse it balloons the tires but not in forward. Never seen this before. Nothing else was touched. Just the battery. Really scratching my head on this one. Any ideas?

What motor are you running?

Edit, did you reverse the throttle by chance?

Stock motor and esc. Reverse the throttle? I wouldn't even know where that is.

You can also try swapping any one of the A, B or C wires going from the ESC to the motor. It's a sensorless stock system, and that's usually the issue

Winner & Rich,
Thanks for the replies. I checked the ABC connections form the motor just in case and they were all in the correct spots. So try A wire in C and if not then A in B? Is there a combo i should start with?

I don't believe it matters much. Swap two and plug the battery back in. Check the throttle.

if that doesn't work. Try to recalibrate the ESC endpoints to the transmitter.

rockslyder,
Yes. Switching the A wire in C slot solved the issue. I don't have any experience with big power but the motor runs well and within temps so for now i am pretty happy with it. Very fun rig.
