Well, the hobbywing has the better BEC out of the box hands down (3 amp switching over 1 amp linear, will want an external BEC with the MMP), the MMP can do 6s batteries (4s on the SCT), I hear the SCT is smoother than the MMP but I cant say for certain since I have not ran either, the SCT is also $40 cheaper on Amain, power handling will be around the same, last but not least Castle support has been proven to be much better than Hobbywings.

Well I was looking at a castle sct setup but says only up to 6.5 pounds and I know these trucks are heavy. Sounds like take your pick on the esc

Pretty much, figure knowing the ups and downs of each should help you decide. After all, it's your decision.

The ET-3S is a rebranded Mamba Max Pro.
You can read a "how to" on flashing it back to official castle firmware making it an actual mmp...
This is what I run in my Yeti.

Pro4 HD just barely clears the battery tray with the sensor wire.

The sct pro would be a good choice for all out power being that it's 120 amps continuous. The ets will have a little more adjustability but it can't handle the load an sct can.

You will need a BEC regardless of what ESC you choose if you are using a HV servo. The MMP is the best choice IMO because it has such a wide range of usage. Sometimes it's better to spend a buck than trying to save a buck in some areas but that's me.

Also you don't have to reprogram to switch battery voltage...

I've been beating on my et3s and haven't had any current draw issues whatsoever.
