Hey all! Looking to install a Tekin Pro4HD in my Yeti KIT. Haven't built it yet, so I am just planning ahead. Anyone know if it will fit?

I think everyone has come to the conclusion that the Holmes hobby 3500kv is the best motor for this rig and has the most power. It's also cheaper. I think it's the puller pro 540xl or some such. Don't get too caught up in the tekin hype.

The Tekin hype is there because it's proven. The Pro HD is a very good motor without a doubt. I have a 3000kv in my Yeti right now and have had great success & results since Sept. You can also get a Pro HD for the same price or less the HH motor. (143.00 & free shpg) That being said I bought into the HH hype (just kidding, love JRH stuff) and just received my new 540XL today in the mail. I wanted to see what it's all about and I'm going to give it a try and give a real honest review compared to my Tekin HD. I'm not a team driver, I sponsor myself like most and I'm sort of a "fanboy" of both products so it will be unbiased and truthful. |

Just because Tekin may be more expensive then some does not mean it's all hype. They work and work really well for just about any application and are my go to. I run the pro4hd 3500 in my yeti and I have absolutely no reason to try anything else. I really doubt the Holmes motor is going to give me anything more then I already have.

I have a Novak 4pdh motor and works great. It is smooth at slow speeds and powerful racing.
