Default yeti stayed in reverse

So i took ywti out this morning. Ran like a raped ape. Took it out again with a fresh battery and I hit the throttle and it shot off and went to slow down so I could catch up. And it started to go in reverse with the controller in neutral. But if hit the throttle it would go forward and I justwatched Iit go backward for about 30 seconds while controller in neutral. Then drove it forward and it was fine after that.
I'm running stock esc/motor, rtr controller but have a fkysky coming, and a castle BEC.

anybody know what wou doing cause this so random?

Perhaps your radio's neutral position got messed up.
Redo the ESC's programming.

Last time I tried to reprogram an esc it wouldn't do squat after.. i had thus same problem before with it glitch in and was told that savox servos draw so much power that it glitches so I added a bec. And it stopped the glitching when i put the stock tactic servo in it, amd I'm driving it right now with no problems. Maybe it just had a dumb moment. I wanna get a hitec cause that's what most people run in these without problems.

Did you check your transmitter maybe your throttle travel is way to far back.

Okay I don't think you read any of my post very good.. not trying to be a dick.

1st post states im running the rtr controller(cheap 2.4)

And the bec wasnt ever the problem. It was the savox servo that was causing it to glitch. Added the bec and it hasn't glitched since till today when it stayed in reverse for about 30 seconds till I drove it forward for about 10. And when I stopped once it glitched a couple times then stopped.. played with it in about 3 hours later and had no problems. So idk what to do besides get a better servo, I have hated this servo since I got it. It's really weak IMO. But I'll get it figured out.

and I appreciate all the info I can get.

Unless your truck was having its steering malfunction I think your assumption that the servo is at fault might be unfounded.
I've had the axial (flysky) transmitters and receivers act weird.
Get your bind plug and rebind your transmitter.
Calibrate your esc after the rebind..
If the problem persists, remove the servo and just throttle forward / reverse.
If the problem persists, try a new receiver.
If the problem persists, smash the ESC with a hammer

When i switched out servos. The savox for the tactic it worked fine. No glitching what so ever and this is before the bec was installed. But when the savox was plugged back in. The glitching reappeared. That's why im.going with the servo. Before I ever tried the servos
I switched out for a spare esc from my dad's unopened yeti, still did it.. then tried my team associated rx/tx out of my sc10 and the problem still.happened. then did the servos and the problem disappeared. I didn't try just one thing amd call it quits. I turn wrenches everyday at a nissan dealer and you cant just test one thing. You gotta go through the steps and show your work and make sure the parts are good or bad.

Is it too late to delete that post, haha. Apparently I didn't read carefully enough. Apologies.

Both the Savox and Solar servos have caused many people to post on here about them in a negative way. I don't have a solid answer for you in particular, but if the servo is causing problems, it's the servo.

only problem ive ever had with a hitec was me being a dummy and getting one wet...

my old dx3r started having issues with the throttle due to a dirty or wet throttle potentiometer in the tx. it wouldnt hold a true neutral and would just be a tad erratic, either jumping fwd or reverse. i took the tx apart and cleaned the throttle pot and it all returned to normal.
