Default A little insight on the VP centered rear currie

Seeing a lot of people with these on the yeti. What exactly is the advantage of it?

Overall strength. Center pumpkin takes stress off drive shaft joints. Weight, helps with jumping with the added rear weight. Bling, lol just plain awesome looking. Gears last longer being bolted into rigid aluminum pumpkin. One piece tubes, no stupid lockouts. Simple and part of overall strength upgrade.

They are great... add a nice weight balance to a yeti.

I can say night and day difference on the torque twist. The yeti rides so much better with a centered housing

Been eyeing this as well. I see the stock upper links won't work but will the lowers?

Lowers are fine, the uppers will need to be longer.

VP says if you add Jato rod ends to one end of thier Ti links it's about right for these Curries.

Oh? Have you done a torque vector analysis?
Many say they notice less with the centered diff.

•For Axial Yeti installation, use Yeti Titanium Rear Upper Suspension Link Kit VPS07201 with Traxxas Jato Rod Ends VPS07500

They don't specify 2 jato ends, or 1 jato end and one that come with your vanquish links revo I believe.
Can someone clarify this?
Thanks

I haven't run mine as vp hasn't sent me the right colored housing tubes yet...
Nope, don't need to. I'll say that I notice no difference between the stock housing and the centered Currie as far as "torque twist".

I have no further info on the upper links as I make my own.

I have noticed no difference as far as torque twist goes, hard to tell since the sway bar does such a fantastic job of keeping the ass end planted under acceleration.

Im using 1 Jato and 1 revo on each link. Jatos on both ends made the pinion point too far upwards.

Edit: I am using Dlux Ti upper links. Not sure if theyre the same length as the VP

So just 1 Jato rod end per vanquish link total of 2 and the 2 that came with the links? are Jato rod ends all around?
