Default yeti kit build issues - front diff

Hi guys, I am having some issues with my yeti kit build -mainly that the front diff gearbox binding the ring and pinion gears once the screws are tight. Anyone else had this issue with their build? The rear axle is fine.

The other weird thing was the front bulkhead brace step 21 in the manual - the front four screws do not line up flat once it is placed properly - and will sort of bend/warp the plastic parts once the four screws at the front are tightened - is this common/part of kit design? seems kind of weird as it places unnecessary stress on the bulkhead screws.

Hope my description is clear - its a late for me here!

My buddy just ran into this problem as well, I think its a bad set of ring gears cause when we spin it by hand the spacing between the gear and the diff case changes. We haven't tried it yet but maybe switch out the ring gear with the one in the rear axle to see if that is in fact the problem since you know the rear one works. Being you have the same problem I'm thinking its something else tho.

I did notice that mine felt crunchy until I had most of the front end assembled, and when I tried to spin the driveshaft by hand it was difficult. When I used an allen key through the hole in the driveshaft and had some more leverage, it felt smooth.

I was worried I had put it together wrong, but I've been driving my Yeti for 3 weeks now with no problems!

As the other guys said, I'd just double check steps and make sure the parts look legit.

Did you get any good solution to the problem with the 4 screws not lining up with the front? I have just experienced the same problem, angle and alignment are way off.
Thanks

Just double check your installation. Had no issues on mine. Take care if you screw the bulkhead together be carefully to not overtide the screws that will cause bind in the diff. Also check if you placed frond and back side right. Regarding the line up it's a press fit but should be fine, take care that you fit the brace on the chassis side right and tide the screws after you placed all screws chassis and bulkhead. Maybe you have to press the bulkhead a little forward to get the brace in.
