I will get the exact numbers for you guys tonight. I think its time for me to own a scale anyways. I imagine them to be at least twice as heavy as the aluminum ones but, maybe about the same weight as an aluminum set screw style locker and much lighter than a full bodied steel locker. There is also enough material left on the flange for possible weight reduction for those of you that need to shed that couple of grams. I may consider doing a batch of featherweight SS-V2 Spools if I had a few people interested.

Ok, You're on the list. If I get a few more people, I'll do the modified featherweight version. It will be limited edition only. Obviously, I'd have to stick them back in the machine so, price would go up a tad. I'll tell you what, if I get 10 units of the featherweight SS-V2 Spools, I'll make it happen. | Re: GripFab "Grip-Lok" V2-SS Spool!! I could but, material is ridiculously expensive which means the price would increase by I'm guessing at least 50%. I'd have to do a special pre-order run of those. I can put you on the a list for a potential run of those in the future but, I don't have any plans to make those in the near future.

Ok, it's a go! I'll get to them as soon as I can. I'm working on getting the current orders out the door and then the SS-V2/FW will be next in line. Could be by this weekend, could be by next weekend. I have a few ideas up my sleeve for weight reduction while retaining strength. I think you guys & girl will be pleased. |

Ok, I want to be clear on something.. This featherweight version will be a limited run only. These SS spools take a long time to machine as it is, doing the weight reduction means more time spent in the machine. This is a custom job for the few of you that will get your hands on some. I do not plan to make many more like this. If there is a lot more interest in the lightweight spools, I'll consider going to Titanium in the future but, for now.. This is how it has to be.

Ok, you're on the Ti list. As far as this Limited Edition FW batch goes.. We'll see whats left over, I only had plans to do 10 units at this time.

I'd like to know weights...price...etc before committing. The VP locker weighs in at around 20g. Your Al locker weighs in at around 5g. If we knew what the SS version weighs without being lightened that would work too...
