| ~TSS~ SCX10 Brass Knuckles Yet another first of its kind original product from The Scale Shop. One piece scale brass knuckles for the original SCX10 axles. Adds weight down low and at the ends of the axle to keep your rig planted without adding rotational mass. Shown with Axial brand housings, C's, and CVDs. Features 4mm thick high steer zero ackerman arms with gussets and two mount holes for the ultimate in strength, steering, options, and clearance. Paint-able for scale looks. Extremely tight tolerances for zero slop. Designed to mimic full scale fabricated/welded knuckles. Shown with SSD brand D60 housings, C's, and CVDs. Help plant your rig and make it more stable by moving the weight outward with more leverage vs brass tubes, yet without the rotational mass of wheel weights. Clears just about any 1.9 wheel. SORRCA legal Weight: TSS Brass Knuckles- 1.565 oz each VP Knuckles- 0.3 oz each TSS SCX10 Brass Knuckles $39 + Shipping Order Here: Knuckles - SCX2 Knuckles coming soon! did a little mockup showing the difference in balance between TSS Brass Knuckles and a brass tube. The knuckles do a great job of keeping your rig planted Left: TSS Brass Knuckle, Aluminum C Right: Brass Tube, Aluminum C and Knuckle Last edited by STANG KILLA SS; 09-10-2017 at 08:14 AM. |

Whats the wheel clearance like with these? I know with the VP 8* knuckles typically you have to run a 350 slw hub or with stock axial wheels you run the wide hex to clear the arm. Will that be similar with these?

knuckle clearance is as good as any knuckle out there. however arm clearance will be the same as any zero ackerman high steer arm. we did shorten the arms a hair to help with this though. plus added the inner hole to help the steering tierod clear the tire sidewall. which is the tightest point on a zero ackerman arm. clearance will be the same as a VP high steer Zero ackerman knuckle.(ie 8 degree) ours will have slightly better clearance due to the shorter arm. this is the only pic i have on my phone right now. this is a 1.9 (.85 wide) with 225 hub, and narrow 5mm SCX hex. ie the narrowest setup available. unfortunatly the arm is just out of view. Here's a pic of mine all painted, may want to note in your original note in its own spot that these do not work with 8* c hubs. "GOD SPEED" |

Cory, What am I doing wrong here? I installed the Brass Knuckles on my SCX10 and I have some SERIOUS amounts of toe in. I'm pretty sure I did everything right. I did change the chubs to some STRC pieces, but even with the original plastic chubs on the outcome is the same. The only variable is the knuckles. Do these require a different steering setup? |
