The 2011 season will have a best 4 out of 5 comp schedule, then followed by the Northern California finals with all U.S.R.C.C.A.-sanctioned clubs to compete for the two Nationals state invites in June awarded to Northern California. -All N.B.R.C.C. events (comps) will take place in the 3rd Sunday of the month, starting in January. -2011 N.B.R.C.C. SEASON SCHEDULE: January 16th: Under the 101 February 20th: Genentech March 20th: Under the 101 April 17th: Folsom Reservoir (Dotons Point) May 15th: TBD -CLASSES AND TYPICAL EVENT FORMAT: 2.2 Pro Class (MOA, Shafty with Dig) -U.S.R.C.C.A. RULES WILL BE USED AS FOLLOWED: No 20 point gate rule. 2 points per progress. No finish and start gates. Off the course repairs will not be allowed. All repairs must be done on course on the clock. When repair is completed touch penalty will be applied and vehicle will be repositioned to the last gate cleared. Bonus line will only be awarded when a driver completes the course. More driver and shafty friendly courses. -SERIES POINTS: Series entry fee of $20 due on or before the Fed. 20th comp. Series entry fee allows the drivers’ scores to be tallied for the series standings. Series points are used to qualify for the Northern California finals shot to the two open spots per class at the U.S.R.C.C.A. nationals in September. Drivers may compete in all the events without paying series fees but will not be eligible to take part in the points series. Series points will be given where first place will receive 100 points; 2nd 99; 3rd 98; and so on all the way down to 0 – for last place. Non-series drivers will receive points for the events attended but will not count for the final series standing. When tallying the series scores you will receive points for the actual position you finish. Drivers will the best score on each course will get one bonus series point with the exception of best course score ties. This series will consist of 5 events and only 4 will be scored for the series, allowing you to drop your lowest score for the series if you attend all 5 events. Series tie-breakers will be based on the driver with the highest average finish position receiving the edge. -EVENT DETAILS: During tech inspection if your rig is not within U.S.R.C.C.A.’s spec rules, you will not run until you have corrected the issue. We will run an open running order. Get in line, have your score card ready, and go for it. Two different people CANNOT run the same truck at any events. Drivers sharing trucks to compete may be disqualified. No pre-running is allowed or tolerated at the events. Sitting your truck down on a course before your turn is considered pre-running, and a 50 for that course will be given. For the duration of an event if any driver is caught driving a course before or after his/her turn and before all drivers and judges are done running all courses, that driver will receive a 50 for that course due to the possibility of course alteration. If cones or gate markers are still down the comp is not done yet. No alcohol will be allowed on course. Drivers and spotters will be D.Q.’d. There will be 3 to 4 courses with 10 gates and a bonus line at each of the events depending on what spacing allows for. ---The N.B.R.C.C. staff Last edited by Waiting Dragon; 01-15-2011 at 07:13 PM. |

| Are you talking about the entry fee for the series? All events are free, NBRCC is a non-profit, only to join the series cost money that will be used for awards and to maybe support the drivers representing the club at the june finals. Please read the entire post. |

I can't be there this year because of work ... So I asked Juan if he would be interested in handling it with the help of the club and local crawlers. I'm glad to see a few of you stepping up! THANK YOU! It's great exposure for crawling in our area and a lot of fun talking with people. Just let me know if you guys want to bring down some panels and set up a course, or just have a booth with display rigs? |

What a great day of crawlin. Thanks to all that step up and helped out, if we want these comps to happed we NEED people to HELP... I got some new ideas about judge\scorekeeper stuff. Maybe have a comp ZONE with no trucks power on unless on corse or have trucks within 15ft of any gate with a ZERO tolerance to get a 50 pts. I understand the scalers are fun but they can get you into trouble at our comps. I feel like this is the make it or brake it year for NBRCC. So dont post up asking when and where the next comp is and just step up and DO it, lets get the club back on track. Bottom line is these comps take a ALOT of work to put on and to run so we need the help of everyone in the club. |
