Some pics would be cool, and any major donts would be cool! Have you seen the dude who makes the stainless links for the scx10 here on RCC? Pretty cool, was thinking about getting the four link set from him-that's when i would do the suspension mod.

No I haven't seen those. You can play with link lengths and make your own wheelbase. I will take some pics and post them up later. Right now I gotta replace the radiator in my dads durango

Ok eric, the bed won't work with this setup so I chose to remove it. You can run just the cab by itself or do something similar. I used link ends and some links I had laying around to connect it all.

I then moved the rear cross member all the way back and removed the one that holds the lights. Your gonna have to force the cross member and screws in place. I also move the shock hoops back too so I could use it as part of a bed/ cage. I then cut and drilled my plate for the chocks to mount to the chassis

I bolted the plate to the cross member in the front of it. had to cut the fake remote reservoirs off the shock caps. Also remember they do need some space from the plate to allow movement.

I then mounted my shock on the inside of the links in the mounts instead of outside so there would be as little binding as possible.

The back is gonna be higher than the front, even with longer shocks up front. I almost wanna run some 80mm ultimate scale chocks like that rob has in the back of his trail finder. I did this the way I did so I didn't have to buy the kit and so I didn't have to move my shocks to a different location on the axle. If you have any more questions feel free to ask and I'll help as much as possible.

I really wanna run this cage setup again, but I don't have the link ends for the top mounts. I really liked it

Sunday could be the day for me and my boys to do some crawling, upper park is good for me, sometime around noon?
I wanna get up to hog lake that sounds fun.. Maybe in the next couple weeks. This week and the following week are busy for me so the second weekend in april could be a good time to get a little crowd together for some hog lake action.. I think the actual date would be april 14 th..

I'm down, there's also a descent creek between the entrance to Upper Bidwell and Oak Knoll Park.
