Man I'm in that area. I've been living in a cave. Im by oak grove high school do not that far. I just got my shifting servo installed tonight, had to make a mount for it as it was designed for a mini servo but all I have are standard ones but I made it work. I should have mine running in a few days. Not sure what the wife has planned for next weekend but hopefully I can get in some time to crawl

I'm in San Jose as well. I just got a new Yeti yesterday. So far it's been fun in the back yard, but I'm going to need a better bash spot in the near future. I'd like to have a bash,crawl meet at a good local spot. I'm at the west end of Capitol expressway near Meridian and Hillsdale. Weekends or after 7 on week nights work best for me. Any input on good spot would also be welcome. The only spot I can offer it Almaden Meadows park at the corner of Meridian and Camden. One nice size hill and some open areas. Haven't really scoped it out as a bash spot, its been a while since I've been there.

Just a shout out to the locals Diablo Crawlers has a gtg at Bean Hollow state beach one week from today 10/10. Epic crawl lines on some really nice rock. Bring a lunch, and all your batteries we usually spend the day out there |

So I have throwing this idea around, Axialfest is one of the biggest/best events around which brings the RC community together. I am part of the Diablo Crawlers and Team LERK. To have an event at Hollister Hills which can accommodates camping, bathrooms, etc. This event could start on Saturday morning to the afternoon and then have a night run for those that stay. I am speaking with the Rangers and Park associates to get all the details. What I am looking for is to see if there is any interest at all. To put something like this on, we would need at least 30-40 people. I think we can go over that amount but before I start making calls and emails I would to know that people will support this event. This event would be RC Crawling and racing as I am sure we can have a track done also. After people give input, we can move forward with local clubs for support along with vendors and giveaways if it gets that big. P.S. Don't worry about 1:1s coming in our area as this would be a designated area. |

Not sure about dates yet, waiting on a response from Axial. I have a call in to Hollister Rangers so waiting for details. If it looks promising, I would need to go up there first and get an idea of the area. Haven't been there in years, ever since I sold my Sami.
