Default Any Scale Crawlers on the Peninsula???

Hello all...are there any Scale Crawlers on the Peninsula?

I did meet up with a few guys at Genentech/UPS and rock crawled a bit, at my novice level...

I would like to find a group that hits trails with scalers...

I am in San Mateo and woud rather not drive to Livermore/Diablo/Sacto etc....

Is there anybody out there?

you're going to have to drive somewhere....why not go to the Diablo GTGs???

There's about 4 or 5 of us that get together occasionally in the south bay (south SJ area) but it's a hit and miss thing whenever we can all do it....

No doubt would like to get out to Diablo! With a job, wife and 2 young kids, carving out a window of time is tough...hoping to find a group to meet locally, then, when time permits, go drive with the established groups...

Many thanks for the heads up on the occasional South Bay meets, I will keep my eyes open...

Genentech in SSF, besides the big rocks there by the main parking lot there is a cool area down the trail a bit where we run the scalers, some cool challenging trails there.
