Most people I think are always taking about trailing/scaling. Unless it's an actual comp, and those normally have much more setup involved. Flyers made, sponsors added, entry fees.......

Just scale crawl. I too have an scx10. Where are you located? Are there any good places closer to you? I can drive somewhere outside San Jose too if its better.

Looks like my Sunday is booked....I am going to go to Water Dog Park this morning...I have never crawled in there, but there are tons of trails and streams...if this place turns out to be a good spot, I will organize a meet up...

Wow, Water Dog park! Big time hangout spot for me in the 80's.

It's in Belmont off of Ralston. You should check out Sugarloaf park up in Laurewood also. We had a GTG there awhile back.

Not sure if you saw my thread with info on Water Dog park...it has tons of potential!

I will check out Sugarloaf as well...

Here is the thread for Water Dog with some pretty crummy video, hard to do this alone, hold iPhone, throttle, steer and not trip!

Peninsula and Bay Area Scale Crawlers: Great Trail System in Belmont

Looks like a good place, is there a lot of terrain? Does it have enough challenging obstacles for an scx10?

Anytime you are available let me know because I'm on winter break right now and am available many days
