I have put shims between the motor and motor mount to make the pinion hit the spur well.

I use to live across the street from ponderosa. Also Do you know Cory Downing, with the Blue Yota. I think you might have sold him the Straight axel he is gona be puttine in soon.

I can't committ, but I am going to try to be at Beals Point on Sunday. My puppy is in the hospital (vet) and it all depends on how he is doing.

Any chance you can post a pic? I am not sure where your problem is by the description. My setscrew has eaten up about 1mm of the spur, but the rest is fine...

Also, I think I am using a 9 or 10 tooth pinion.

Similar for me to , my 12 tooth robinson is clipping the back edge of my 93t spur ~ the spur "wobbles" tho it's tightened evenly, .. or not i'll have to check again, but it doesnt turn perfectly circular... no harm tho, it still crawls well

Mine wobbles too. There is a little play room where the slipper pegs fit into the slipper clutch. This is pretty normal from what I ahve seen with the Traxxas slipper clutches. My T-Maxx was horrid as was my E-Maxx. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I hope the pup ( dozer the video dog ) is ok.

I'll be there Sunday, I'm just finishing up a few bits of my build to give a test run. Anybody know if Hot glueing the tires will work for a bit, just to get me through Sunday , then I'm going to cut and die the wheels so I don't need anything permanent? thanks

It's worth a try. If not you could just use a REALLY REALLY small dab of CA.

Cool, I'll probably be in a yellow Toyota or a red Ranger.
