I have a set of links now (two actually) but they are for a specific setup. I don't know how close the new frame will work with those links, so I will have to see when the frame arrives and I can put it together. If I cannot for some reason get it to work, I will shoot you a PM (I cannot find your number anywhere) in case you can help.

65BAJA: I have done body posts vertical, body posts horizontal, two U-shaped thin sheets of aluminum with Velcro at each end of the chassis. It depends on the frame and body set up. I like the post horizontal now, but Velcro is great, no pins to hastle with. If you need more info about it or pics, just ask. |

I used to do the U shaped aluminum/stainless steel setup. Looks nice because no holes to drill.

I like the aluminum hoop/ velcro idea. I'll do that. To bad the body already has holes in it for the Revo it was on. Maybe I'll see if I can patch it cleanly somehow. Anyway, see you guys on Sunday! Oh, what springs are the hot set up on the sw2 chassis? I'm running the hot bodies shocks. I think I read somewhere Losi whites in the front. I can't remember in the rear though. |

Good morning all! Manwhalo and I attended the Sportmen's Expo at Cal-Expo yesterday. It was fun. They have 1:1 rock crawlers there that are worth checking out. I will see you all out at Beals Point around 12 noon today. We will also be out tomorrow at noon. EVERYONE IS WELCOME. friends, family, dogs, whatever. It just may be a bit boring after staring at the rocks for 3 hours. At least they wont think you're cheating. Last edited by 1tom2go; 01-20-2007 at 11:26 AM. |
