I found that I have the same problem in Modesto. i found some Facebook groups but they are either not active or private and I cannot get anyone to respond to invite requests. I have started to go to site that i found by searching old posts and groups and have yet to run into other crawlers.

Similar issue. I have found a few places around 108/120. Currently I primarily run at Mt Diablo and Redhills. There are a few trails around Bagby that I plan on checking out soon while the weather is fair.

We(wife and I) go to knights ferry right now, it is pretty decent upstream of the covered bridge on both sides. I have heard of red hills, but have not been there, also heard of a spot off 120/49 past the bridge over don pedro. We will be at Knights Ferry this Saturday. |

You are off the 140 heading into Yosemite, here is an idea you can try. we sometimes go up the 108 into the mountains and we will stop off at large granite formations and crawl. we have found several that are pretty cool. Take a day trip and go out and try to find some spots.
