Freaking weak. I got my crawler rebuilt on friday, dorked around some on saturday, then was in the Stockton area untill monday night. I could have tagged along and frusterated everyone with my natural lack of crawling ability. When are you guys going next? I would like to try out some "real" crawling. Neuera, Love the General bug. Happy B-day Nor Cal. You can now be tried as an adult, but still get treated like a kid for everything else. Suck, huh? |

the next meet is on the 28 at folsom lake. we have been meeting every sunday for the last 2 months. and it is growing with new people there. were not going to meet this week because there is a comp at reno on the 20th. so just be at folsom lake on the 28th or you can crawl with the guys on the 27 for a night crawl. you can camp at folsom |

i got some cool stuff for my bday. i got a nice dremel with a 200 piece accessory kit. and a brazing kit. it comes with mapp gas and the oxygen gas stuff, a few brazing rods, and the nozle thing. i need some flux and some good quality braze and some brake line then i can make some bumpers and rock guards.

I am running a shoot for some scouts on the 21st, so I couldn't make this weekend anyway. How's the road to the lake? Maybe the rest of the parts for my wife's crawler will come in by then and I can get her to come out as well. Are there any club dues or fees? ::EDIT:: Very nice Nor Cal. I love the smell of mapp gas and melting flux. Last edited by lunchbox; 10-17-2007 at 10:46 PM. |

| Only the fees to get in to the lake which is seven bucks. unless your camping then its more. The road is paved for part of it then dirt it can be as hard or easy as you want it. |

It looks like we are going to spend sat and sat night in Lincoln with my wife's grandmother, then head up to the lake bright and early sunday morning. I guess the real question I should ask is, will my wife's Jetta make it? Or is the road too pooched? The Jetta did great untill I got to the parking lot of a certain RC store in Reno... that's where I learned it doesn't off road very well. ;) ::EDIT:: I should have both crawlers put together by then, provided all the parts get here. We may not have much if any time driving them, but we'll see. Last edited by lunchbox; 10-18-2007 at 05:09 PM. |

I'm going to read through the thread and find the time and place you guys are meeting, is it before you guys open that day? If so I'm there since I have to work every saturday and sunday of my life.(family business) Can' wit to try crawling rocks instead of backpacks and impossible stairs. |
