Package received Bender. Thanks. Only problem is I didn't get one of your windshield stickers. :-( Any way you could send me one?

I was gonna edit my last post but you were too quick with your response. It appears the pede tranny mounts only to one side of the chassis. Is this correct? I had assumed you would use long screws between the plates with spacers on one side. However, I see there are no corresponding holes on the opposite chassis plate. Does it simply bolt to one side? Thanks for your help.

You are correct, the tranny bolts to the engraved chassis plate. Use the 2 long 6-32 screws I supplied, with washers on each side of the plate.

I got to tell you! I like my SW3 better than my SW2. I also have the SW1.

I found it effective to use both washers on the inside of the plates.

I did that too, to space the front driveshaft away from the upper links. I think most run Stampede sliders though, I run the 2.5 shafts.

I'll try putting both washers on the inside as I'm using the 2.5 shafts. One more question- Is it normal for a pede tranny not to bolt up "square" with the chassis plate? This is hard to put in words but what I mean is that when the bolts are tightened, if you look down the length of the chassis plate, the tranny appears to be canted about 5 degrees off of a right angle to the plate. I've looked at all your pictures and couldn't tell if this was normal or not. Thanks.

Yup, that is the way it should be. The suspension pivot points in the tranny housing are on a slight angle, that's what you're seeing.

I mount my shocks upside down. So, the rod end of the shock is on the chassis. I space the shocks off the chassis with a spare ball from a rod end. I use fuel line on the axle side of the shock.

Just posted some pics of mine in the TLT thread. I love the chassis, just wished you came up with the ano thing before. I actually thought about having in anodized on my own, but the $ vs. value thing. This is by far my favorite RC rig ever, better than trucks, buggies, pans, sedans. Guess I'm a tortoise and not a hare!
