You can use them on the front. They will fit perfect.

Hi guys. sorry i checked out for a while to get caught up.

i'm waiting on the new closed bottom CNC machined arms to come back from anodizing which should be in about 2 weeks.

FYI i have been selling the trailing arms plain to those who just can't wait . just buy them on the website (kit or arms only) and you will receive the new style arms which totally kick-ass. no, i do not have pictures and when i do get pics i will raise prices due to much higher cost on the new style

thx.

As I understand, he has and has been selling the new style for some time, but they are not black. The 2 week estimate is for black ones, which will be higher priced.

Got my kit in today, started the install. Went smooth. Only issue I had was with a little bit of clearance issue with my Tekin 550 motor and the rod ends. Other than that, this kit is badass. I plan to install the rest of the kit (basically mounting shocks and tightening everything up).

I did add a few coats of flat black to the arms.Name: uploadfromtaptalk1394172372432.jpg

Here are the new trailing arms, fully CNC machined and anodized black. I always wanted to make them this way but never had the money to invest in a production run.

These are available for purchase now. There is only one style. I eliminated the "single shock" option since the bottom is closed there is no longer a strength advantage to having a smaller opening.

I also hope to offer these in clear anodize in about 3-4 weeks.

Thanks!!

I was about to order the delrin links from you until I remembered you have this :-)

I will also be upgrading from the stock shocks to the proline powerstroke slash versions
would it be better to get the 98mm ones all around or 98mm for rear and 118mm front and a droop kit

also if I do 2 shock rear would they have to be the same model? and length?
The new design look even better.

why buy a droop kit if you don't need one? personally I would do 98mm all around for simplicity. you can mix and match the rear shocks no problem. its actually more scale that way as lots of KOH rigs have different shocks in the rear. just make sure you don't use 2 overly massive shocks that will interfere with each other

Thanks, I read to fast your 1st post when you mention shorter shock front or a droop kit.
I ordered the shocks during the weekend but due to confusing spec on 2 different webpages I would have to wait for them to get here to know for sure how long are they.

received my arms a few days ago. 1st thing I do is look for instruction after seeing all those parts there are none but that not a big deal just look at the pictures and go for it.

Wow talk about travel.
Full travel, I might go to a smaller shock 90mm right now using 100mm

yep those shock are huge.

thinking about doing the front but wondering if the shocks would mount on the inside or outside of the shock mount.

some folks have used them in the front. i'm pretty sure they mounted the shock in the stock location.

I did it. The shocks will indeed mount in the stock location.
