Re: IFS kit for Wraith I have about 10 hours invested in my build so far....knew nothing about this kit until today. Sort of takes the fun out of building one Great looking product, none the less |
Re: IFS kit for Wraith Quote:
Now I can spend those other 9 hours making the rest of the rig look even better  |
Re: IFS kit for Wraith Quote:
yea, yea! I'll give you that. ....I am adding the rear exo cage to the rear of the wraith as well....i think 2 hours when into the actual front suspension.:ror: |
Re: IFS kit for Wraith Shipped a bunch of kits today. You guys should see some movement on tracking. Many more tomorrow. Sorry for the delay. Anyone who ordered the titanium links are still waiting as I am still waiting for the links. I contacted you all individually via email. I don't make the Ti links so I'm at the mercy of other factors. "thumbsup" -bmrc |
Re: IFS kit for Wraith here is a picture of the bellcrank steering that some of you have been asking about. the lower skidplate has been removed so you can see everything. HTH "thumbsup" the aluminum traxxas steering unit (blue) looks like it was meant to be in a wraith. it takes about 2 minutes to remove the bottom skid to have complete access to the steering components, servo, ring gear, driveshaft, motor and transmission. |

Re: IFS kit for Wraith mine showed saturday !! thx matt/BMrc i'll be doing a rebuild thread on the DmG's Stiffy Kit for G6 IFS rig soon !! with my own DmG twisted touches on it  spent about 30 mins on the buffing wheel allready, just on the bottom chassis - OOOO shiny !! |
Re: IFS kit for Wraith Finally got my IFS done thanks again BMRC! Pics are with a DMG LBStiffy kit installed with no cage cutting except the rear roof piece. http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/i...ps802c0a2d.jpg http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/i...ps04f6ea0c.jpg http://i260.photobucket.com/albums/i...ps849b5e54.jpg |

Re: IFS kit for Wraith per BMRC website... "Steering: you will need a Traxxas bellcrank steering unit. Because of the precision machined steering posts (provided), you can take advantage of the aftermarket aluminum cranks with ball bearings: Traxxas part# 3743A. The stock plastic Traxxas bellcrank unit on a budget. Part# 6845X." STRC has a copy aswell...few bucks cheaper |
Re: IFS kit for Wraith Very sweet. Made me have motivation to buy a wraith and IFS it! Not only it looks cool but is there any better performance benefits over a solid axle? Crawler wise. |
Re: IFS kit for Wraith For the guys buying the STRC steering links you will also need to get traxxas part # 3966(revo throttle linkage shoulder bolt) which is a shoulder bolt. You can also use part # 3642X(shock shoulder bold) but these bolts need to by cut because the threads are to long an interfere. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/w...psefef1a02.jpg http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/w...ps1e04144d.jpg |
Re: IFS kit for Wraith Traxxas part # 3644(slash suspension links) will work for the steering link and plenty beefy. I will add more pictures and any additional parts that I use in my build. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/w...ps8631a634.jpg |
