Too much invested in nimh to change? That is a sunk cost that you won't recover, so the business man in me says baloney. Your biggest purchase would be a lipo charger, which isn't even as much as two matched nimh packs. By the time your nimh "investment" gives up the ghost within the next year, lipo will likely be cheaper. A good 20 or 25C 2 cell 4000 mah pack is starting to hover around $100 now if you know where to look.
