Default nitro knowledge

not to defend this guy but how many of you know anything about different nitro trucks out there? most nitro monster trucks have some sort of slipper clutch in place and the brakes are always adjustible you could easily adjust the brakes to hold the vehicle on an incline and adjust the slipper to allow slowwer movement through slip so what about a nitro crawler is so unfeasable the tmaxx is NOT the only monster out there and for that matter the new kyosho crawler is based on the mad-force (A NITRO MONSTER TRUCK) SO WHERE IS THE B.S. REALLY? but i will step off the soap box now...

Jesus, not this crap again...

It used to be funny, but it's just a worn out joke now...

If you're trying to be funny, stop now, you'll never make it as a comedian.

If you're actually being serious (I don't think you are), you will be laughed off the rocks quicker than I can spit when you show up at the National's.

1. This person is yanking all of you chains.
2. This person is posting from Minnesota.
3. This person shares IP addresses with 2 other known members from Minnesota. Both have attended a Nationals.
4. I guess I could just ban this account and see which one of them emails me because their normal account also doesn't work.
5. Nitro wil never, ever, ever, ever be competitive in radio controlled rock crawling.

Don't ban him yet, I want to see his "2.2 legal XF".
You should put this thread in the Classic forums along with the Road to Oklahoma voyage thread.

I think that would be the walking farts , which is what this clown will have if he' for real , and doesn't take 1st .

With that said I 2nd the BS call !

Could be a great idea for a rock racer though ! Maybe an unlimited class ?

I'm a little nervous reading all the responses this is getting... I'm thinking now is not a good time to unveil my steam powered crawler ;)

I think they will I am still working on mine. It has had a few reworkings but it is getting closer. The one thing to think about when working with Nitro Engines is that a standard mill for cars and trucks have been made for high RPM use, now a mill for an airplane or other are not as high rpm as a car. Also there is a .35 gasser from Italy that might work and Enya has a Diesel that could work as well. To make it all work the gearing has to be spot on, to keep the engine happy and not burn up the clutch. Also from the early 70's a car company had made a hyd. torque converter for racing (Still looking for one). So the chance of a "Fueled" crawler can and will work. I now have the time to work on it more
