You guys don't know how lucky you are... I'm actually gonna show this thread to my wife. She hates that I spent $500 building my rig. (she's threatened to leave me several times if I spend another DIME on it.) Since I was spending so much on my crawler she cut me back to a $20 a week allowance. :-( And that's not just crawler money... that's for anything I want to do that doesn't directly benefit her or the kids... |

I spent over $125 one time one a crawler part. Man was my old lady pissed.Total I have spent $315 on this hobby. Man it's really expensive.

I'd buy more if I didn't have to buy groceries for the kids! It's the "guilt" part I have a problem with. I can't imagine how a "crackhead" feels after he spends all of his money on drugs. Haha.... |

im 17 and have spent easily more than 5G on all the heli's, crawlers, and various other rc cars. (hell i just bought a rc motorcycle yesterday) Fact being The rc hobby cost alot but is loads of fun The downside being trying to find someone that will understand my spending habbits I can imagine it now Wife-Honey wheres your pay check me-Its on its way wife- what do you mean i thought they gave it to you at work me-well i ummm well sorta ummm you see kyosho and Losi have these new umm well anyways ummmmm well my check is comming in the form of rc cars and parts Now X-wife- Im out of here have fun with your toys (i was spending 200-250 a month but ive cut that back) |

Just got two ax10s...these are just 2 of my many rc's. 2 Ax10's - $440 Rear Lockouts - $50 2 Spektrum DX3R - $640 2 FX-R ESC's - $230 Hustler 2.2 Chassis - $100?? Blackjack Chassis - $60 Xtrail and hardware - $50 Total----------- $1570 thats not including the motors and batterys and all the other stuff. |
