I agree whole hartedly, the CP/CP Pro are both total crap.. I also owned a CP Pro and sold it fast.. Basicly what we are saying is invest your money into a better bird like a Trex.. You will not be disappointed at all. However that said, you need more practice before you go out and buy a rex or similar size bird.

Ya I don't think I would ever dare fly a trex right now! Not only do I not know what I'm doing but combine that with all that money and it would be bad news! I think I am going to start off with the cx2 and do some upgrades. What are some good upgrades for it? I planned on the aluminum head thing? Haha and maybe change the weight things for a little more agility, sorry guys I have nooo idea when it comes to helis! also what would help it do better outside? Thanks

we still fly ours stock. no problems at all.
why upgrade what works just fine. plus the aluminum bits, will only make it heavier.

you can lower your battery(more stable) and move control rods(faster forward flight) and shorten the fly bar(reacts quicker, less stable) if you want.

The CX2 is plenty fun for a beginner, you won't be hovering upside down with it, but you won't be doing that with a Trex as your first helicopter either ;) You need to get some muscle memory, experience flying, etc before you move to advanced stuff, otherwise you will just get frustrated with crashes and expenses.

And to answer your previous question, the carbon tailboom is better outdoors because it presents a lot less surface are for wind to knock it about.
