So the whole point of the search feature is to cut down on all of the repeat questions, but why o why is there a 45 second wait between searches, and why did it jump to 45 from 15? |

It was 120 seconds a couple of weeks ago. I'm happy its back to 45 but 30 would be better.

I'm not whining, I am simply questioning the reason behind the wait period, and why it changes. Is it easyer on the server or something?

yeah its easier on the server. the pages will load faster this way. with as many users as this place has they cant have everyone searching at once it'd bog everything down... | |

that explains it, thanks. it is just somewhat frustraiting at times, but I do know that playing around with the search feature is waaaaaay faster than posting up a silly question and waiting sometimes over several hours for a response. I would definitely rather wait the 45 seconds than 45 mins to get my answer. I'm not whining! said in a high girlish whiny voice. |
