| Basement version 2.0
Some of you may have remembered this thread Basement clean up Well we once again have stepped it up another notch. Spent the entire weekend so far down here. One of the local hobby shops was shutting its doors and we bought and got some stuff from him. Here is the walk through as of now. Open basement door, Hot wheels line the walls along with a bad ass dukes of hazzard poster. little further down, some cool banners that the shop owner gave to me. As you get down the steps and look right we now have 2 huge show cases with under storage Look left, and another show case has been added (may have posted this already??) As you continue through, the one show case is still where it was and when you look ahead there is an air hockey table yes, thats right, an air hockey table...previously it was being utilized as a huge table where I had all kinds of crap on it we also took down the baby photos of my brother and I and put the hot wheels all up there. To the left of the air hockey table is the one rolling cart, which has the race clods on it, can be rolled out to play air hockey To the right, we have the light up sign from the shop... he was going to throw it away, I told him I would take it. I figure down the road I can always have a sign shop make a new sign part. At last year Nats, RC World Magazine was there and the dude shot pics of my sw3 CJ and my clone. Getting my trucks into a magazine has always been a goal/dream of mine so when it finally happened my stepmother had the coverage frame for me. and of course, my disastrous work area...always working on 10 different things at once Back to the left we have one more huge show case with under storage You may or may not notice some new additions ;) To the right we have the rotating slot car display and to the left of the case, the one original case and another rolling cart Well thats it for now...still more to do...back to work -Mike Last edited by 1BadJeepBruiser; 07-27-2008 at 01:57 PM. |

| I talked with the guy who I got the boat from, and the hull and most of the hardware is from over seas distributor. he contacted them and they wanted 40$ just for the hatch, he cut me a deal on an entire new hull with hardware for 100...figured it would be good to have extra parts in the case something else happens...

| At least I'm not alone. Just like my room in the basement except most of mine are 1/25 scale models and 1/18 scale diecast very few Hot Wheels anymore sold most of them, got tired of grown men fighting over them in the store. Nice room. |
