This might be the first "Bobber" I've seen with a V-twin I've liked. Bobbers were always meant to be old Nortons, Triumphs and BSA's, all these new Harley idiots are screwing up the good old "Bobber" looks. |

Cool! I should have kept my Buell. It would have made a nice chopper, it sucked as a sportbike |

Looks like a mutant frame from redneck eng. http://www.redneckengineering.com/mutant1.htm They have some nice stuff for decent prices, friend on mine built one himself for around 7grand that was very similar to that one.you can get a wrecked Buell for cheap Last edited by SuperBad; 08-16-2008 at 07:07 PM. |

Someone on Scale 4x4 said it looked like a redneck eng frame but the dude said he built this frame himself. I looked on the redneck site and didn't see a frame that looked like this one. |

I love the Buell front brake setup. it has a very cool look with that enormous rotor. Always is cool to intertwine oldskool with newskool on a bike. Verysharp

That bike is spot-on, but I don't like the enourmous front rotor. I like the shorter ones like that.

I like it, but copper for lines is a bad idea.

The British bikes you mentioned are more directly related to the "Cafe Racer" style of bikes made popular in the mid 1950's.

The "Bobbers" started in the early 50's with guys bobbing (cutting) the rear fender, fuel tanks and front forks. The modern day "chopper" started in late 50's-60's by changing the forks and cutting the frame to change the rake of the forks.
