(I'm pretty sure it's sold at the ''export-shops'',if not,PM me) Quote:
They only export the ''middle of the road'' stuff. It sure does help living in Holland. The Grolsch brewery is in the neighbor-city,50 miles from where i live. You found ''Hoegaarden'',though. It's from Belgium, but considered a classic around these parts.

My favorite IPA thus far is Founders' "Centennial IPA" - brewed right here in Michigan I haven't tried Great Lakes' "Commodore Perry", but thier porter "Edmund Fitzgerald" is one of my favorite beers of all time. Last edited by Mad Scientist; 10-06-2008 at 08:27 PM. |

This is my favorite, it's a local brew, not sure if you guys have seen it but if you do you should try it. Nothing beats an ice cold CAN of Coors light! I also like these... |

''oe'' in dutch sounds like ''oo'' in english (cool, school, moose). Hoogaarden (stretch the a in garden). The hard part is the ''g''. There is nothing to compare it to in english. I can't spell the sound of it,it's quite an unusual pronunciation. (It sounds like Klingon or clearing your throat.)
