Anyone like the Scottish beers? One of my all time favorite beers is SkullSplitter Going more main stream: Guiness, Smithwicks, Killians. Also a brewery here in Michigan I enjoyed living near for many months was Bell's Brewery, quite a good selection especially when you can visit as their brew masters always have something fun up their sleeves. I'd say their most popular is Oberon which I used to love until some bar maiden placed an orange in it, ever since I've noticed a flavor change to it...might be more in my head though. |

One of my favourites: It's brewn here (I used to work just up the road from there! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brouwerij_'t_IJ): The beer with the highest % I've drank so far ( I didn't think it was very good though): |

Flying dog brews great beer. You made my day seeing their new Ipa. Ipa's are the only way to go.

I like my Fat Tire and New Castle. Another I have tried and like quite a bit is Blue Moon. |

Blue Moon is good. Anheuser-Busch makes something called Shock Top, it's quite similar to Blue Moon, and surprisingly, pretty good.

I hate chocolate and love this shit! Ten FIDY Imperial Stout - Now available in cans, our winter seasonal beer is immensely viscous and loaded with neck-deep flavors of chocolate, malt, coffee, cocoa and oats. It's the beer equivalent of decadently rich milkshake made with malted-milk balls and Heaven’s best chocolate ice cream. Ten FIDY is about 10% ABV and is made with enormous amounts of two-row malts, chocolate malts, roasted barley, flaked oats and hops. Its huge-but-comforting flavors hide a whopping 98 IBUs that are deftly tucked underneath the beer’s mountains of malty goodness. Ten FIDY is the ultimate Rocky Mountain winter warmer, and further proof of the creative muscle of our beloved brewing staff. Look for fourpacks of Ten FIDY in select beer stores in Colorado. Out of state? We hope to send a few cases to a few of our other states in early '08. |

They won't sell these in OHIO Due to legal restrictions, Samuel Adams® Triple Bock® can not be sold in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Iowa, Missouri, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, South Carolina, Washington, and West Virginia. The extreme beers from Sam Adams, the Utopia ranges between 25-27% alcohol equvilent to some of the finer Scotches and Brandys out there. http://www.samueladams.com/world_of_...px?jump=styles Cheers |

Ohio had a restriction for a while, but they lifted it a couple years ago. But I'm not sure if it still has a limit or what, but we can get some strong beers now. So |
