I once brought home 3 grey squirrels from work.Their "home " was a single tree in a parking lot, no real food source or escape unlees you couny playing frogger on a busy street. I kept them outside and fed then soaked catfood for a few weeks, once they were old enough they went their own way. But it was pretty fun haveing them around for the few weeks the did stay... Wild animals are wild, they can be acclimated to huimans but are still wild and should be given that opertunity to return to their habitat....
All in all REALLY cool!!!! hope all turns out well. Just a note watch the nuzzleing their mouths are mini sewing machines..... Hey have fun with the experience Im sure if fed it will hang around for quite some time provided the kitty dont go for round 2:-(

my father would befriend the family of flying squirels that lived in the top of his barn. when the brain cancer prevented my father from going up to visit them they would come down to him. I think even the squirrels will miss my father.

Your cat didn't catch that squirrel. That squirrel said to your cat "I demand a ride to food, and take me to your leader"

It has begun

BD's just fattening him up. Give it another week and the little fella will be in between a sesame seed bun.
