What about running two courses at the same time? Run your super first then over to the old school course ya go. Would save time and you would get more run time.

do that all ready... OSC would essentially add a third. I'm with Dirk, run them on the super course, bypasses as needed... Then after everyone else sees the wisdom of old school and they shorten their supers to OSC specs we can go back to one class |

Then I guess you go to different comps than I do here in colorado because we run one at a time. | |

Combine Dirk and Pinch's ideas, and I think there are the beginnings of a set of rules. I'd go with 15 inch max wheelbase, only because they'll run on the Super's course. SparkyJ seemed to do pretty good with his 14'r, but one more might have made the difference maybe? I don't know... Y harness only - rather use 2ws anyways Uncut Maxx or Clod based tires Narrowed wheels allowed, Maxx or Clod Seems easy enough, so really it's just the wheelbase that's up in the air. |

how long of sunlight do you guys get in a day? ya got the supers, 2.2's, others wanting to run a 1.9 class, then bringing in an old school class..sounds like we need to start making these comps a 2 day event and not to mention people running Nylints also |

I'd take an OSC over 1.9 and Nylints anyday. Derrrrr.

I just thought of an easy solution: All crawlers but Old School are no longer allowed at comps. It's just that easy. Oh, and nice avatar pinchy |

I know I'm pretty stocked about my 14er. I'm all for super tight and technical off camber coarses, like Ace said, where you have to pick the best line not just roll right over it. This rig with four wheel steering is just as capable as my super besides any ledge over 16" where the rig can't be bumped up anough to wrap a tire over. That will hapen no matter what size WB you run. I'm all for the shorter 14" Wb with 4 wheel steer but it dont matter, JUST BRING IT FAKERS! |
