A couple of dumbass jock guys I knew in HS dipped. I always thought it was pretty much the single nastiest thing ever--- still do.
I have no idea why anyone would think its "cool" -- its absolutely disgusting. I can't even imagine kissing someone who does that. :barf:

Please don't try it. it'll grab ya! I started dipping when I was a freshman in HS and it lead to smoking. I quit a few years ago after maybe 15 years... Its bad, and basically you are paying someone else to kill you or otherwise greatly compromise your health!

My dad smoked since he was 13, quit when he was 39. He too was in A-hole but it gets better once he was over it. I dont think he will start back because when he quit his bestfriend got killed in a motorcycle accident and he never picked up smoke.

a wise man learns from other's mistakes.

i chewed/dipped for about 15 years. hardest habit to quit, but i'm sure glad i did. maybe do a google search on mouth and jaw cancer and check out some of those photos.

I used to chew in jr HS and High School up until I met my wife when I was 22-23 years old, she was a dental assitant at the time. After she left a few pictures around of gum disease and oral cancer, I quit cold turkey while I was working new construction installation of elevators out at DIA in Denver. Tough when all my co-workers and friends were still doing it everyday right in front of me.

Best advice is don't start. Rc crawlers are a much healthier addiction

Skoal Mint!!! Or a nice chew of Levie Garret is really nict to. I chewed that during school. Easier to hide for me. Im on Skoal Mint now cause Im old enough to have it and like the smaller container/package for the northerners.

I quit on January 1st after 4 years of doing it. The last two years I was doing 1-2 tins a day. Dont do it man, screw what the other kids say, high school is lame and you're better off not doing it. Figure the average cost per tin is around 5 bucks a tin, so 5x365=$$1825 I always knew it was a waste of money but it really is extremely hard to quit. It took me so long to start cutting back, and I do still pack lips nowadays, but its called mint snuff, and is just cut up mint leaves. No fiberglass, no nicotine, no tobacco.
