Bill is a nice guy, met him a few times with my dad....he kinda proves smoking and lead won't always kill ya

One of the few greats from the era left....

Thats frickin awsome!!!! im the same way about being starstruck,but this past winter at the world of wheels gene Winfield and a crew were doing an exhibition of chopping the top on a 30's chevy coupe.well I brought my bro in law and he doesnt know too much about the whole old school scene,so in the middle of telling him gene walks over shakes his hand and shakes mine and just shot the s@!t for a minute.I was kinda at a loss for words

Yeah, Gene is great too, always has a smile on his face. That's the next show I'm looking forward to. The Winfield and Watson Custom and Hot Rod Gathering in Mojave Ca. Oct 11th at Winfields place. He's out in the middle of nowhere in Mojave now, I guess he wanted to get away from the movie industry stereotype and get back to basics of customizing cars.

1908 isn't an arbitrary model number it is the year the machine was made. Considering it took about 2 days to knit a pair of socks prior to this machine and 40 minutes using the machine I'd say it's not such a problem for any indigenous people.
